Sunny Coast | 3rd April

A six-race card will be run and won at the Sunny Coast this afternoon, and we've found a couple to pull us out of the hole we got ourselves into yesterday.

Race 2: Class 3 Handicap (1000m)

Hansen and Fradd combine in the second with the well-supported race favourite, You'll Be Mist, and she looks very hard to beat. The three-year-old filly has had five starts at her home track for three wins and two seconds, with those runs all over the 1000m. From barrier four, Bobbie Fradd will have the speedy galloper up on the speed and give them something to chase.

Race 5: Maiden Handicap (1300m)

In form combination of Waller and Orman team up in the penultimate with Gulf Of Odessa who is looking to win his first race at start two. The son of Sebring was set to go around on Saturday down on the GC as an odds-on favourite, but Waller instead sent him up to the Sunny Coast for this. He should box-seat from the inside alley and prove too classy.

Race 6: Open Handicap (1000m)

We are going to bring it home in the last with one at close to an each-way quote in Inanup. The Kris Lees-trained galloper has race fitness on his side over the likes of Archer's Paradox and Sir Warwick, so we are hoping that is enough to get the eight-year-old home. With a few runs in Sydney this prep behind Rule Of Law, Lost And Running, Gravina and Taksu, the son of Bon Hoffa looks beautifully placed to get the job done, while the Good 4 conditions should suit. He will be doing his best work late here.
