Its sunny, its hot and we were fired up until we found out this midweek event is back at Bundamba racetrack again. It is an eight race card and we will be racing on what will be a good 4 track with the rail out four metres for the entire course and the first race to jump at 1.18pm.

Race 1: Class 1 Plate (2170M)

The favourite looks pretty short here considering she is yet to step out over this trip yet. Happy to watch her win because well put simply the rest are not very good but there are better places to spend your money here.

Race 2: MAIDEN (1680M)

No thank, moving on again here.

Race 3: Class 5 (1680M)

Keen to be with our stable here and Kiplings Journey. He was super here first up saluting at a nice price and was all but home last start. Third up and reaching peak fitness he should be handy to the speed and the runs under the belt may just prove the difference, he is flying this prep.

Race 4: MAIDEN (1200M)

First starters everywhere you look and that means we are looking elsewhere.

Race 5: MAIDEN (1200M)

Keen to be with the favourite here in Try Everything. The Orman and Gollan combination, well yeah they go ok and this horse was good first up and was bumped in the straight and still picked up and went again, that is generally the sign of a very good horse. A risk with all the first starters but she can be winning here.

Race 6: MAIDEN (1350M)

Deep Tiara to jump, lead and win? Yes I think so. She was ok last start without blowing the out of the water and will be all the better for the run. Being able to just run along the rail and not be back in the ruck should prove very advantageous.

Race 7: 0 – 65 (1100M)

Well most of this field has gone around against each last start and can be tied. That is why Radient Remi has come up the favourite after beating home Shapin Power and that horse subsequently beat basically every horse in this field. Radiant Remi goes on top thought with two wins over this trip and 1/1 track and distance.

Race 8: Benchmark 65 (1350M)

We are charging home with another short priced horse to end what will be a competitive card. Brasco has form around Flag Hall, Action King and General Boom which looks good for this. He was great second up last start and if he takes any improvement out of that he could go close to winning this and Orman picks him over competitor here in I Am Takingthelot.
