It has been bucketing down up here in South East Queensland and fair to say you would want to be a good wet tracker to heading out to Bundamba race course today. We will be racing on what will be a heavy 85 track with the recent rain and the rail out eight metres for the entire course and the first race to jump at 1.18pm.

Race 1: MAIDEN (1350M)

Well the market has changed significantly here with the favourite out and with almost no wet track form amongst this remaining lot think we will be steering clear.

Race 2: Benchmark 65 (1200M)

Keep it simple here and roll with the tried and tested jump, lead and win. I think that is what Heroic Miss will be doing here for Munce team. She come off a nice trial win into this, draws the pole and get Cejay on with the claim and does prefer a bit of sting out of the ground.

Race 3: MADIEN (1200M)

Well lets keep this really simple again, if Drialle gets clear air last start he wins, and if he handles the heavy deck here he too should be winning. The $1.65 is a bit skinny on what will be a really heavy track but he should be winning.

Race 4: MAIDEN (1200M)

Rock Lobster was really good late over the 1110M but the problem is that is has drawn the car park at Ipswich and that is poison. Fly With You for the Campton team has been good in three starts with three second placings. He will lead with the only query here being the heavy deck.

Race 5: Benchmark 65 (1200M)

Very even race here, keen on Magic In Me for the Schwenke team. Damien Thornton jumps on and he has been going very well lately. He normally runs well first up this bloke and from a nice draw and with a win on the heavy decks before he can go close here.

Race 6: Benchmark 68 (1700M)

The favourite looks a risk from the draw here so keen to play Raging Pole who has a good record at Ipswich with out lots of wins. Bailey claims and he handles the wet. From a midfield position he will be able to peel out around the corner and blouse past them down the middle of this very heavy deck.

Race 7: Class 5 (1100M)

There are a few in this race that I could entertain but the key is handles the wet and will be in the right spot in the run and Hardware Lane ticks both those boxes. He comes to this race fourth up and with three wins from five starts on the heavy is well and truly proven his credentials there.

Race 8: Class 1 (1350M)

Good luck in the last race lottery.
