After last weeks abandoned mid week meeting we have been treated to Doomben Monday and now we make our way west to the beautiful Bundamba race track for a meeting at Royal Ipswich. We are running on a Good 4 with the rail true for the entire course and the first race to jump at 1:08pm AEST.

Race 1: MAIDEN (1100M)
Almost all first starters in this event and for that reason it’s a pass for the mugs.
Race 2: MAIDEN (1666M)
We follow the first with another maiden over a bit more than the mile and once again there is a lack of form line up here and a dangerous race to be betting into so happy to leave it be.
Race 3: Class 1 Handicap (1666M)
Well I tipped Roller Coaster race three the day it won at Eagle Farm and with even luck in running again a small drop in weight and out past the mile it should be winning here even at the red figure quote.
Race 4: Class 4 Handicap (1666M)
Badoosh comes up from Sydney and brings different form lines but has been ordinary. I A big part of this I think is the heavy tracks, doesn’t seem to like them. Last prep was running in behind Zing and La Chevalee and comes back from benchmark 78 races to a Class 4 Handicap and doesn’t give much weight to key rivals. Should position up behind them in the run and will be finishing off late.
Race 5: MAIDEN (1200M)
Pretty keen to be on Beans Means here and not only for the namesake. Ran a belter at the Gold Coast last start only run down late by the hot pot from the Freedmans in Guilia who there was spruik about. A similar performance and recovering from the run on the heavy surface sees him going close again here and loves a tight turning track that favours leaders.

Race 6: Class 4 Handicap (1200M)
A horse that sat off them last run was Kavak for the Munce yard and should get a similar run here against inferior opposition. Miss Mckinley and Magic in Me will both should forward and from barrier three Kavak should land handy and get the drop of them. With fitness improving and out to 1200M he will be mighty hard to stop and is deserved favourite.
Race 7: Benchmark 68 (2150M)
Aquileon just looks a super bet here. There is not a stack of pace and Elizano should lead them off but from barrier 7 he can be a lot closer than prior runs. He made a long sustained run last start and looked to have plenty in the tank. Will be winning again here and we get $4.80 thank you very much.
Race 8: Benchmark 65 (1350M)
This last race of the day is a race in two, the quinella with the top two in the market is a living breathing certainty but I think You Are Persistent is the bet here. From barrier 4 Jimmy Orman just has all the options while key rival draws the outside and will have to work to get across and that will be the difference. The soft draw and fitness will prove too strong the O’dea & Hoysted runner.
