Heading back out to Ipswich for the midweek card today and we are back to the smaller racing cards again with seven to assess today. We will be racing on a soft 5 to a good 4 track with the rail in the true position for the entire course and the first race to jump at 2.13pm.

Race 1: MAIDEN (1666M)

An absolute nope on this race, over the mile at Ipswich.

Race 2: MAIDEN (1666M)

This looks like a race in two and that is the top two in the market. Dracena drawn low gets all the favours as it did last start but Possibilities held up at a key stage last start can atone here even from the wide alley and can run over the top of them late with the in form Bailey Wheeler in the saddle.

Race 3: Benchmark 65 (1350M)

If Dracena wins earlier in the day then Love ‘N’ Rockets is a bet here but Silva ‘N’ Suave has form behind Cosmic Fire, Street Chase and Amazing Eagle who are Saturday class. With the claim from Jasper he should be able to sit in behind the pace and can unleash late.

Race 4: MAIDEN (1200M)

If you don’t feel sick yet, $1.55 about Ser Joh will surely get you there on this midweek card. I am going to be with Darling Take Care here with the Mayor of Ipswich Justin Huxtable on board. The low draw will give her every advantage and at an each way quote is a bet here.

Race 5: Benchmark 70 (800M)

Mr Galazi is 2/2 over this track and trip, flies second up and with breaks between runs, has form around Find Your Own and Payline which is strong for this and from the low draw just simply looks a good thing in this race.

Race 6: Class 1 (1100M)

I think James Orman Certainlycan get this one home for the mug faithful. Fourth up here and while slightly back in trip is in pretty well here and will sit just off them and if she gets that rails run late the Tony Gollan show will just keep rolling on.

Race 7: Benchmark 70 (1350M)

Well we are backing the master trainer in here again and simply because senior jockey jumps aboard here and finally this horse should get a rock hard deck. Great Aspirations results on paper look average but he was on that awful GC track at the magic millions and now back on a firm surface where he has won before with Maloney on, today is the day.
