Gold Coast Pink Ribbon Preview

White Sunnies - check

White Shoes - check

White belt? Don't need it cos the Mugs get legless whenever we hit the GC!

It's a fantastic little card headlined by two headline horses, Weona Smartone and Miami Fleiss oh and of course Top Order.

Gold Coast is generally a day where the locals beat up on their neighbors an hour up the highway and we see that here with the two BIGGEST of DOGS on the GC bring some handy horses to the races.

Mr Strike Rate Michael Costa has a smart one in She Can Sing and boy she can win also, Edmonds line up Ruuca who a couple of seasons ago saw the booty of Exceedance, Bivouac and Libertini down the Flemington straight. However we can't forget the Mugs major sponsor who saddles up A River Somewhere who was super impressive last start. The speed will be on, so the question will simply come back to how the track plays with the Rail out 1 and the grass as sizzling Good 4!

The greatest form in the Australia comes to fruition in Race 2 over the 2200m.

TOP ORDER FORM

The Mugs ATM returns and with winners all through the form, we can't see it losing, There's Rothfire then there's Top Order, it really is that simple

We fast forward to Race 4 and we've got the wildest ride in Racing History - The Sugar Boom ride. The Cleaner, Ball of Muscle, Might and Power they are the great names in early speed, they couldn't hold a candle to this girl. She's a brilliant 900m horse and that her absolite limit, the big if's are Tavisan and King Klaus. Both have gate speed in their own right, could they pester Sugar Boom could they lead? DOes this mean Mugs favourite The Move smokes that pipe and blows them all away?!

Quaddie time spells the start of a special horse Weona Smartone. This is certainly his hardest test against credible opposition. Tramonto drops back from the Goldmarket with a huge second behind Desert Lord, who'll start the Weetwood favourite. He didn't get to dictate terms last start which showed some versatility in his racing pattern.

The main event is the Blacksoil Gollan show, Miami Fleiss is shorter than Bean's fuse backing I've Gotta Nel week after week. She should lead if not sit handy and can make whatever race she wants of it. Champagne Aunty is a genuine up and coming star in her own right, but back to 1300m? On path to a Toowoomba Cup? Who knows what's going on there, but those silks seem to win more than they lose.

R8 - COSTA'S HOUSE MOFO's #NUMBERONE

See ya next week - Get behind the ROTHFIRE as he destroys Sydney
