EFN BIG, EFN Forgive or EFF Off Review

Mugs you know what we're like, when we've had a horror day on the punt the last thing we wanna do is review the bloody thing, so here's what we'll do, we're gonna identify 2 of each, write them bloody down and learn to go back to the well with a suitcase or never return there again

EFN BIG

Vega One - Winner Gr1 Kingsford-Smith Cup

Race 8

Jockey: J Kah - Trainer: Tony Gollan

Geez, I don't what Jamie charges for her sling but I'd double it if I was her! Vega One was due, long due and we're glad he finally got his Group 1. He's now into favouritism for the Stradbroke in 2 weeks, the only downside is no J Kah.

Profit - Class 6 Plate

Race 1

Jockey: J McDonald- Trainer: Chris Anderson

Again it was a long time coming for Profit, he'd only chalked up 1 win over the last 12 months and had always showed immense ability. In what was a handy field the money came late and was able to produce a booming turn of foot that sucked us in early days. He's a 4YO so plenty of racing to come for the son of Dundeel.

EFN FORGIVE

Lord Belvedere - 5th Premier's Cup

Race 5

Jockey: Jye McNeill - Trainer: Maher & Eustace

Well it wasn't Zahra's fault this week, 2 runs in QLD, 2 absolute forgive jobs. What's next? Q22 probably looks a bridge too far, but there is a 3200m race on Stradbroke Day that could be a saver for the 7YO Gelding, if not, he'll be suited to the weekly BM90 over 2200m along with 17 Chris Waller runners.

Gytrash - 12th Kingsford-Smith Cup

Race 8

Jockey: Jason Collett - Trainer: Gordon Richards

Same position as Vega One, different result.

Looked absolutely flying, didn't get the gaps, got squashed and was a total forgive run. I'd be keen to back up into the Stradbroke but it looks like that's all for this prep. The question was always how would he come back up after the Sydney campaign but he leaves you no impression that he won't go a yard in The Everest.

Other Mentions: The Candy Man, Converge, Sweet Deal

EFF OFF

Athiri - 9th Helen Coughlan Stakes

Race 9

Jockey: Josh Parr - Trainer: Godolphin

Absolutely done, 2 starts in a row it has had the DREAM run. Last prep it beat home, let's have a look at this rap sheet, Krone (Gr1 winner), Boomtown Lass, Kisukano, Outback Barbie... Nup too angry, absolutely done... This one time Blue Diamond favourite is now an all time blue coloured cat.

Trekking- 4th Kingsford-Smith Cup

Race 8

Jockey: Kerrin McEvoy - Trainer: Godolphin

Should change this subject to the Godolphin has beens corner. Things have never been the same with Trekking since he catted in the Winterbottom holding the nations multi's, yeah we hear ya "He's consistent Mugs", did consistent win John Cena 16 world titles, NO, he's just not a winner. It's times to say goodbye to Godolphin's average elite sprinter.

Any we missed or are judging to harsh?
