To be trained by the Hulbert Racing team in Brisbane, Queensland

We put our hands deep in our pockets, looked under the couch and in the glovebox of the car to make sure this fella didn't leave the Inglis Classic Sale in someone else's horse float.

The son of Encryption has plenty of style and size about him, and we hope to see him at the races early, just like his dad! Encryption (Lonhro) was placed in Listed and Group 3 level in his first three career starts as a 2YO, before winning the Group 3 Black Opal Stakes and then running a very credible fifth in the earliest 2YO Group 1 in Australia, the Blue Diamond Stakes. He raced at the top level all throughout his racing career, including the Coolmore Stud Stakes, Newmarket Handicap and Stradbroke Handicap, right on our doorstep here in Brisbane. Our colt is out of Fleeting Feeling, a daughter of champion stallion I Am Invincible. Her first foal is yet to race as a 2YO, but is ready to trial, after Lindsay Park purchased her for $170,000 12 months ago.

Fleeting Feeling, like Encryption, was a 2YO winner, winning well on debut over 1000m. She went on to win two more races, over 1400m and 1100m respectively. Winners run in her family, with Fleeting Feeling being one of six foals from the unraced mare Impressions, with five of those going on to win races. Our colt is fully paid up for the QTIS bonus scheme, meaning he is eligible for some cracking prizemoney bonuses in Queensland, as well as the rich QTIS 2YO Jewel and QTIS 3YO Jewel. He's also eligible to compete in the Inglis Race Series, which includes the $2 million Inglis Millennium next February at Royal Randwick Racecourse, and the $1 million Inglis Sprint the following year at Flemington, while the rich Inglis Pink Bonus could add an extra $1 million in bonus money! He screams 1400m on breeding, so races like the Group 2 BRC Sires' Produce Stakes and Group 1 JJ Atkins at Eagle Farm will be well and truly on our radar in 2024.
